TAKE OUT SPOTS • BARTACO #TACOTUESDAY
It’s TACOOOOO TUEEESSSSDAY!!!! It’s literally my favorite day of the week! I mean… who doesn’t LOVE tacos?! If you’re not in the mood to cook but want to host a little fiesta then order take-out from Bartaco in Raleigh or Chapel Hill, NC.
My mouth is literally watering thinking about their pork belly tacos, they are literally cooked to perfect and tossed in spicy arbol chili sauce, then topped with pickled red onions and cilantro. There’s no way you can just have one! If you’re not into pork they have amazing chicken, duck, fish and vegetarian tacos. I am not a huge fan of mushrooms but their portobello taco changed the game, it’s so tender and flavorful and topped with lightly fried queso fresco!
If you’re not feeling tacos, they offer a variety of tasty salads, rice bowls, and sides to choose from. Let me go ahead and put you on game… If you order the street corn, ask them to take it off the cob for you. It’s easier to eat and you won’t be picking corn out of your teeth all night. I personally like to order 2-3 tacos, chips and salsa, fresh pineapples and plantains. The plantains make my heart warm smile. Now, they aren’t my father’s plantain’s, but being the runner up isn’t so bad! They are tossed in a salt and cayenne pepper mixture and comes with a tasty garlic dipping sauce. Do yourself a favor and order extra sauce on the side! You’ll thank me later!

The best thing about Bartaco is it’s a la carte making it easy to order something that everyone likes. If you’re favorite thing about TACOOOOO TUEEESSSSDAY is enjoying one or maybe a few margaritas never fear, they have freshly made margarita mix available for take-out. My favorite flavor is mango, but the pomegranate mix is really good too.

SIP If you’re not a fan of corn tortillas make sure you tell them to switch them to flour! If you’re a fan of spicy food, ask for the roja salsa!
SIP They use fresh juice to make their margarita mix. If you’re dining in, make sure you take an uber or have a DD because you can’t drink just one.
SPILL They have a “secret” taco that isn’t on the menu and it changes from time to time. Ask your serve what the secret taco this month. I promise you won’t be disappointed! If you’re ordering take-out, ask for the #bartacosecret taco kit. It serves four!
