Pan Af Weekend is a one of a kind experience held in Raleigh, NC. It is a weekend of celebration that has been coined “The Black Homecoming” a celebration of Black Culture. Pan Afrikan week has been celebrated at North Carolina State University for over 50 years for undergraduates and Alumni featuring fashion shows, step shows, parties and so much more. Pan Afrikan week’s rich history is inspired by the African Proverb Sankofa which means you can’t know where you’re going unless you know where you came from. The weekend invites back Alumni, family, friends, and really anyone who wants to join in unapologetically celebrating US!
Join us April 7th-9th for a true Home Coming Experience. The Purpose of Pan Af week(end) is connection, expression of self, and celebration of our culture, the culture.
