Seven Springs Farm & Vineyard plays host to the Blacker the Berry Brunch. The best way I can think to sum up this experience… it’s a cultural oasis, a baptism in blackness, a homecoming of sorts. These types of experiences are oftentimes reserved for wedding receptions, family reunions, and homecomings, but the #BTBB fills you with the same type of energy.
BTBB adds a unique dynamic to the vineyard experience that I’m sure is rarely in traditional vineyard settings. Dj Double seems to blend sounds that span the diaspora, along with delicious food that fills the soul. All of those aspects contribute to the event, but what makes it special, a lifelong memory is you, the people. The natural essence of our innate vitality, magnetic spirits, and connectivity is in full effect when you step foot on the vineyard.
Seven Springs is a Black Owned vineyard in Norlina, NC that features a variety of wines as well as an outdoor space that embodies the beauty of North Carolina. I’m no wine connoisseur but no matter your preference dry, sweet, red, white, they have you covered. The quality of wine is matched by the quality of service. Be sure to visit the Seven Springs site to learn more…
I could go on and on about how and why the event is so dope but words just wouldn’t do it justice… I guess watching the video below is a start, but trust me you don’t want to miss the next time we run it back.
Be on the lookout for Blacker the Berry IV
